There were 17 of us who did this cruise together, 10 adults, 7 kids, good variety of entertainment for everyone, kids had their own table at dinner each night, which made them feel very special, the youngest of the group had a birthday so was treated to a cake & special service by the wonderful staff. The kids (5-15) loved the waterslide, the unlimited icecreams & hamburgers, the adults enjoyed the waterslide as well. We had a balcony room which I would highly recommend for views & added space. The room was lovely & service excellent, food was great. I thought there could have been a few more stage shows on offer & maybe more movies, but that is just my opionion as we had a few days of not so good weather. The embarkation & disembarkations went smoothly. The ship sailed very calmly.
I didn't do any excursions but used the bus to spend some time in Noumea & see a different side to this town. Last visit was disappointing to Noumea as I only saw the seedy side of it, but this time spent a few hours at Lemon Beach & had lunch at a lovely tapas bar. (very much like Noosa QLD). I recommend the bus as you can hop on hop off & get to see so much more of Noumea, which is really lovely.
Sailing out of Sydney & being at port on The Harbour was amazing. We were lucky that our room had a view of the opera house. We spent the night in Sydney before departure & just got a cab straight to port. All in all a wonderful holiday, great for large groups & everything went smoothly.
Cabin was spacious enough, comfortable bed & great pillows, nicely appoint, can't remember the room number. Service was very good & friendly.
