Background information on me, early 40'ish yr old woman sailing solo, this was my third cruise having previously had a good time on RCI's Majesty of the Seas and an absolutely horrible time on the Caribbean Princess last year. Any worries I had before this trip were blown out of the water!

Ship - Spotless and well laid out. Helpful signage everywhere and if a staff member saw you looking they always offered to direct you to where you were going. Cabin and balcony was about the same size as other lines but much more nicely appointed than either RCI or Princess. Shower was quite a bit bigger than Princess as well. Lotion and shampoo dispensers are a nice touch. Cabin steward was very efficient and I hardly ever saw him. While I never thought I would say this, I loved the towel animals. How they make towels into what he did is beyond me, birds, turtles, monkeys hanging from the curtains, flowers etc.

Buffet/Pool Grill Food - While I am generally not a fan of buffets, I have to say this was one of the better ones. The pizza, omelettes and little sandwiches in the afternoon were great. Burgers, wings and fries out by the pool were always good too. The only thing that was a tad annoying is that it never seemed like what was open when was consistent. Not a big deal in any case. I hardly went hungry during the day.
