Traveled with children

I bought this cruise as a gift for our children for Christmas. This was there first cruise and my 7th. I normally travel with Carnival. This was my husband and my first Royal Caribbean cruise, we went with them because we thought there would be more actives for the children. We took 6 people total on this trip. We set out for what we thought would be the adventure of a lifetime for them. We were wrong. For starters the weather was not good at all, not the cruise lines fault, an excursion I did book (again not through the cruise line) we could not even get in the water because it was too cold, we came back to the boat. There was no activities for my children. They were bored. They did go watch one movie that was indoors one day. There was really not much else they could do.

We did make it to Cocay again the weather was cold the kids did not get to enjoy this day, not the cruise lines fault. We did have a decent lunch. When we came back someone stole all of our chairs and left us sitting on the ground, so watch that. They do not care what you have on them.

The food was terrible, we really had a very difficult time finding something to eat at the buffet in the evening. Service was good though. Especially in the dinning room.
