My husband and I were looking for an anniversary cruise, and were deciding between a Uniworld or a Viking cruise. I had heard good reviews on both, but talked to a coworker about her Uniworld cruise and it convinced me to book with them. I was not wrong.

I can't say enough good things about our experience. And I have no negative things to say, either. The River Beatrice is a lovely ship, our cabin was on the bottom deck, but I kind of preferred that because it was so quiet down there. If I wanted views, I had many other places on board that I could go to look out, and we were really just in our room to sleep or rest.

The food is excellent, breakfast and lunch were buffet style with many choices, and dinner is plated. The soups especially were outstanding.

Standard Stateroom

Cabin 4

The room is small, but has plenty of closet and storage space. The beds are extremely comfortable. It is made up European style with a down comforter, which we found too hot for us, so they changed it to American style with top sheets and a blanket. Each room has it's own temperature control and safe. We were also able to choose from many movies, both old and new, if we needed entertainment.
