We are experienced cruises using many different cruise lines but this was the first time that we had used Cunard. The main reason was that two ports of call were in India which we had yet to visit. Singapore was as usual a delight have lived there in the past and visited on quite a few occasions. The check in was excellent within 20 minutes we were through all the formalities and on board the ship which without a doubt is beautiful, the art deco features on the ship are just wonderful, our balcony cabin on deck six at the rear of the whip was spacious there was sufficient wardroom and hanging space the bathroom was adequate, staff were as usual were extremely good attentive but unobtrusive.

We were dining in the Britannia Restaurant on deck two, asked for a table for two got a table for six eventually sorted out, food of good quality and there was enough of a choice, portion size on some items left a bit to be desired, waiting staff were extremely good.

Overall the entertainment was poor one nights entertainment consisted of main theatre two girls playing Indian Sitars a man playing classical piano in the atrium a man in the commodore club playing jazz in another part of the ship a lady on a harp and lastly four girls in a string quartertet playing you into dinner.
