My husband and I chose this cruise for its itinerary - Havana, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico. We are both in our early 30s and had never done a cruise before so we were unsure of what to expect. We read all the reviews in advance and we had rather low expectations but we were pleasantly surprised.

Our documentation said that check in was at 7pm. We dropped our bags at the cruise terminal and spent the day exploring Havana. We returned around 4pm in the hope of checking in early. We were allowed to check in around 5.30pm. This was not a long process. There is a lack of information in the cruise terminal and some people were confused as to whether or not they could leave or if they had to stay but I think this was a port issue rather than MSC's.

We had an inside cabin, yes it was small but it was cleverly designed and there was lots of storage. The bathroom was very small but it had everything you needed. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean and were nicely decorated. Our room was cleaned a minimum of 3 times a day!!
