We have always wanted to go to Italy, but this cruise gave us a broad view of the Mediterranean. We loved the ship, our cabin, and the overall experience. It is different than the long ship and river experience. But, we found it relaxing and well planned.

The service was excellent and dining options were welcome and most enjoyable. We liked the Chef's Table, the restaurant and the pool grill. We particularly enjoyed the experience in the Chef's Table as the selected menus for both of our dinners were perfect and the wine wonderful. We spent time in the Explorer's lounge where we could read and rest in peace. We enjoyed hearing and seeing Willie Aames our Cruise Director. He was a joy.

The shore excursions were great, just the right length and since we have not been in any of the countries it was a pleasure. We loved Barcelona and Venice, but the other ports were good experiences. We selected the visit to a private palace in Venice for a night of opera. What a wonderful experience. Our guide was great and we enjoyed the evening walk through the neighborhood where we got to see local people spending their evening. We were frustrated that we didn't have more time in Rome, but that can be a future adventure. Each port was interesting.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Veranda

We enjoyed our Penthouse Veranda cabin. Good space and wonderful views including the veranda. Service each day was punctual and well done. We enjoyed having the fridge and refreshments included.
