I chose this cruise as I had to travel in school holidays and there was not much choice. I normally choose other cruise lines although I have traveled on many P & O cruises prior. Like other people, I was a bit dubious prior to embarking due to the many negative reviews. However my partner and I had a great cruise and were pleasantly surprised by the ship. We had a balcony cabin which was very spacious. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the balcony was great. Our toilet blocked up once but was quickly fixed. Otherwise we had no issues with the cabin or bathroom.

We loved the public spaces and did not find the smaller ship at all crowded. Plenty of activities for those who wanted them, although we really only went to the production shows, trivia, gym, dance lessons and a few other game type events. Our main complaint was the music was not really to our tastes and we would have liked to be able to dance (ballroom/latin) and they did not cater for partner dancing at all.

The food was mainly good, particularly the Salt restaurant. Service in the Waterfront Restaurant was very good, and we enjoyed all our meals, some were good, some very good. The Pantry was fine for a quick lunch or breakfast and we never had trouble getting a table.

Spacious and comfortable, Great bed. Lots of storage and loved the balcony. Bathroom was fine.
