My wife and I choose to cruise again this month after most spring breaks and before the summer crush. The weather the first night caused some rough seas, but it was great the rest of the cruise. We had a nice day in Nassau, not too hot yet, and then a fantastic day on the beach at Castaway Cay. I even got in some fishing for bone fish with Captain Trey. For lunch on the beach at CookiesToo I would recommend the spicy chicken sandwich. Of course the ribs are outstanding as well. We ate our breakfasts in the buffet each day. The menu changes a little each day, but always has many choices. I love seeing a child with a plate covered with different pastries. The dinner at Palo was exceptional again. I would recommend this dinner as we always take a meal there each trip. There is an uncharge of $30/person, but well worth it. Jungle Book was featured on the ship the same night it opened everywhere else. It was fun to see in 3D. And yes, there were fireworks at sea on pirate night! Some of our fellow passengers told us they heard that fireworks on a ship was not allowed. Well we sure enjoyed them! Our room on the tenth floor was just below the adult pool so we heard chairs being moved in the morning. Since we rise early to watch the ship dock in port, we were not disturbed. Maybe we would't have even heard it.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

Cabin 05A

We like the tenth floor rooms as we are older and find the stairs to the public deck one floor up easy to manage. This cabin is located under the adult pool area. The only noticeable noise for us was in the morning when chairs were repositioned for the day. Since we were awake to watch the ship dock, this was not an issue. The split bath is terrific. The only change we would make is to have sliding doors on the closet like those on the Disney Magic. Oh, this cabin is located near the forward elevators which are the best for vertical travel, but also located a short walk to the midship lifts as well.
