BEST CRUISE WE HAVE EVER BEEN ON!!! After appox. 15 cruises with various Crusielines we decided to jump on a last minute cruise on the NCL Escape. We live in FL so it was a no-brainer for us and honestly, we didn't know what to expect. WELL...let me just say that we have NEVER had so much FUN such great FOOD or such unbelievable ENTERTAINMENT! This ship is run like there are 100 passengers aboard, not 4,300! The Free Style dining in these beautiful, small, chic restaurants (not the huge dining rooms with 1,000 people at designated times like on other ships) lends itself to "dining" in the true sense of the word! The food was outstanding as was the service. You really felt like you were in a NY restaurant, not on a ship.

Part of what makes this ship so amazing is the staff. The cruise director, Silas, is full of fun and energy and seems to get around to each and every passenger. He stops, talks to everyone and has a dynamic personality. Along with his Asst.Cruise Director, Andre (who is totally hilarious!!) they make the best team we have ever experienced!

We wrote a letter complimenting the ship to the "Hotel Director" Sean who was so appreciative of the nice comments that he sent Choc dipped strawberries to our cabin every night! When we met him on the pool deck he immediately gave us his card and said to drop him a note when we plan on taking the next cruise! Soooo nice.
