My husband and I were on the 13 day Mediterranean cruise in March, Barcelona to Barcelona on the Norwegian Epic. This was our first cruise—and probably the last!

4000 cruisers and 1800 staff on board. We did not sign up for beverage package as the “free special deal” came with a daily tax/service charge of more than we would drink per day! If you opted for a single glass of wine in any of the restaurants that will cost you $6 plus tax/service for a total over $9 per glass. No water in the cabins—even had to pay for that.

The food was plentiful, along with pushing, shoving, and downright rude people trying to get to the buffet food first in case it would disappear.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

As said before, toilet/shower set up poor, no privacy. Only good thing about our cabin is we were at the front next to steward's laundry room and no cabins across from us.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Took a cooking class on our own.
