We took the cruise to The City of Lights- Paris to Prague. This was a wonderful experience for us, so much so that we are booked on another Viking river cruise this May. The people that worked in the ship were wonderfull, the service was excellent and the food was exceptional. Our cruise director was incredibly attentive to our needs and always making sure that we were comfortable on the tours. The Viking River Cruise was beyond our expectations.

We flew from Miami to Paris where a driver from the Viking staff was waiting for us at the airport to take us to our hotel. The hotel in Paris was at least a four star hotel. The next day we were treated to a very nice buffet breakfast prior to being taken, by private coach, to a mini tour of Paris which included the Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. Late afternoon we returned to the hotel and had free time to explore on our own. A Viking staff member was always available to assist us. The following day we were picked up by luxury coach buses to take us to Luxembourg where we boarded the majestic Viking ship.

Cruising through the River along the Moselle, Rhine and Main Rivers while seating on a comfortable couch in front of the huge glass windows sipping a cup of hot chocolate, was amazing! It was as if I was in a fairy tail, the once my mother use to read to me when I was a little girl. I have to say that the Heidelberg Castle in Germany was definitely a dream come true. To complete my fairy tale was the glow of Prague at Night. Taking this cruise in December truly brought the Christmas spirit to life.

Prague

What is there not to love about this wonderful city. The Charles Bridge, lined with 30 or so statues of saints, Old Town Square, colorful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and specially its medieval Astronomical Clock. Absolutely breathtaking.

Rich in culture and history. This is an enduring Gothic spectacle.

I loved the tour of the castle. The tour guide was top notch.

Nuremberg

We went to The Nazi party rally grounds - very sad history, but the Christmas market in town was wonderful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great history. Loved the medieval architecture.
