We chose this cruise as a last minute choice. We wanted to get away for a few days to rest and relax and this was available and reasonably priced. The staff were excellent, absolutely amazing. We had a table at the back of the dining room for late seating all to ourselves. The food was very good and we enjoyed every meal. There were entertainment options but not anything we were interested in this time.

One issue we had - we appreciate that Carnival designates "controversial" entertainment to later in the evening, less family appropriate times. It allows us to be forewarned and make our choice accordingly. However, on the last night of the cruise, there was a special interest group dining during our late seating time that was allowed to present "entertainment" during our dinner time that was NOT appropriate for all age groups, definitely not. We were assigned our dining time and nothing else was available. A table close by us had younger children and they were all very embarrassed.

It is Carnival's option to cater to special interest groups but I would ask that the general public of the ship not be subject to the activities of these groups. Unfortunately, for our future bookings, we will be making our choices to sail according to whether or not these types of groups will be present so as to minimize the risk of again being subject to inappropriate entertainment while we are dining.
