We chose this cruise because we had done a Viking River Cruise and loved it. Embarkation and disembarkation was very smooth and easy. Our cabin was very nice and cared for great. Food was very good and we really like the open dining as well. While there were formal restaurants and dress was formal, there were also the dining rooms where casual dress was fine. I appreciated not having to take formal clothing.

The thing we loved best of all were the included tours and excursions at each of the ports. They were exceptional. We also really appreciate the discounts that Viking offers return guests. While the cruise is not inexpensive we felt that it was great value for your money. The ports visited were all very interesting and the excursions at each port were very coordinated and organized. We really liked that you got a lot of history and information about the area. Tour guides were exceptional and went above and beyond to make the tour exceptional for all.

We also really liked not being nickel and dimed while on board, while you could buy drink packages, there was no pressure to do so. Having drinks that include wine and beer at lunch and dinner included was an extra perk. Another thing that was wonderful was the laundry facility that is on each floor of the ship. It was so nice to be able to do laundry for free while on board. Cruising with Viking from the time we got our flights to the transfer from the airport to ship and back were all handled exceptionally. We are already looking forward to scheduling another Viking cruise and seeing more of the world.
