We were on the maiden voyage of the Voking Sea...it was our first ocean cruise ...tho we did a river cruise on Viking several years ago. It was exciting to be on this maiden voyage and all the staff seemed happy and excited as well...the could not have been more welcoming / friendly/ helpful...every last one of them! Both embarkation and disembarkation were very smooth...we were greeted with LOTS of champagne during this voyage!

Our cabin was comfortable and we loved the room refrigerator and coffeemaker. The bedding was very luxurious and the mattress soooo comfortable. We loved sitting out on our veranda as well. The bathroom was spacious and the shower worked well...even for my 6 '3" husband!

The food was excellent and we enjoyed eating at the 2 special venues...the Chef's Kitchen and Manfredi's. It was fun to try out all the various places to eat onboard..high tea in the Winter Garden was especially notable! We ate many meals at the World Cafe...which had so much to choose from...plus wine served with both lunch and dinner.
