We have been on over 20 cruises and I have to say this was the best overall. The ship was more like a 4 star hotel then a ship. The dining was one of the best even the buffet was great. They had Snow Crabs and Sushi every night plus the same food they had in the restaurant. The specialty restaurants were wonderful, great service and food. This is also included in the price of the cruise. Wine, beer and soda are included at lunch and dinner at no charge. High tea each day at 4pm was also a nice treat. Each day they had either a string and flute trio, guitar or piano player at tea and in the main foyer and the bottom or the staircase.
Our cabin was spacious and had a large closet. The bathroom was nicer then many hotels I have been in. Plexiglas enclosed shower with a small seat. Our cabin steward was wonderful and fulfilled all our requests. Service was good in the whole ship and everyone had a smile and you could tell they all wanted to be there. Spoke to many of the crew from the Captain down and they all said they loved their jobs.
Ports were wonderful and guided walking tours were included with each port. Most ports you could go back with the guide to the ship or go out on your own and take a shuttle back. I cannot say enough about this whole cruise. It was amazing.
We had a deluxe veranda. It had a coffee maker, cashmere blanket and a fridge that was stocked daily with water, mixers and candy bars included. The bathroom was the nicest one on any cruise that I have been on. Plexiglas enclosed shower with a heated floor and square sink. A duvet on the bed and a large flat screen TV with many movies to watch. Large closet with bathrobes and slippers Our cabin steward fulfilled all our requests.
