We chose this cruise because we always wanted to go to the Christmas markets in Europe. It was totally worth doing and would consider doing it every year. It gets you in the spirit of Christmas and is so fun to see all the decorations and festivities. The weather is cold, but not unbearable. The food was fabulous and it is well worth upgrading your room to a suite. We wish we could take the staff from this ship on every cruise. They really made the trip so special. The tours each day are a bit early sometimes, but full of facts and information. It is also worth arriving a day or two early in Amsterdam and doing the post trip in Lucerne. Both great cities to walk around in and beautiful. We also did the tour to Mt. Titlus and made cheese and went up the 360 degree gondola. There was also an ice cave and suspension bridge way up on top of the mountain. There was an abundance of delicious food and snacks in your cabin that are replenished daily along with fresh fruit daily. We had a nice double size shower and the floor was heated in the bathroom. While my husband slept later in the morning, I could get up and close the pocket door in the sitting room and watch tv or check emails. Worth the extra money for the extra space. I can't say enough about this cruise. We met some fabulous guests and plan to cruise together in the future. Make this cruise a bucket list must do!!
