Saw advertisements about Vicking River Cruises and thought it would be a wonderful experience. Selected the Grand European Cruise because of the many cities it stopped at. It was much better than I had hoped for. The tours and tour guides were great. All of the tour guides were very knowledgeable about the history of the city that we were visiting. My wife had never traveled to Europe. She was amazed at the beauty of the counties and cities that we traveled thru.

The food on the ship was excellent with a wide variety of items to choose from at each meal. The staff on the ship was fantastic and extremely helpful in fulfilling any request we made of them. We made many new friends on the cruise. It was an experience of a lifetime.

We arrived in Budapest and was met at the airport by a Viking representative who saw that we and our luggage were escorted to the bus for the trip to the ship. From this point forward a Viking representative was always available to see that our every need and desire was handled in a very courteous and professional manner. Many nights before and after dinner we would go to the lounge to listen to the live music and enjoy the various entertainers that we brought on board.

Cabin was nicely decorated and was very spacious. The attendant kept the cabin very neat and clean. Fresh fruit and bottled water was provided each day. We enjoyed spending time on our veranda.
