This was our 3rd cruise on NCL and second on the Sky having sailed before on Royal Caribbean, this cruise being for our daughter's birthday. We were booked in Category BB which is a balcony stateroom but I did figure out that an Oceanview room is about the same size, just a different layout. We stayed in an Oceanview on our last cruise aboard the Sky and the two seem to be about the same size without the balcony. The plus to this is the (2) NCL robes in the balcony room, upgraded bathroom amenities, and special seating in the Palace dining room for balcony and suite guests for breakfast.

EMBARKATION: A breeze,15 or 20 minutes from the time we arrived to the time we were aboard to receive the "Welcome Aboard" champagne or juice. Staterooms were ready at 2:00PM so we ate lunch and let our daughter swim in the kid's pool until that time. Lunch is available at the Garden Cafe and Great Outdoor Cafe(Buffet style),Crossings Dining Room(sit-down),and Il Adagio(buffet with pizza and cooked to order pasta).

STATEROOM: Very clean, comfortable bed, regular turndown service at night, lots of pillows, and a great view from the balcony!
