As someone who usually travels at a fast pace, I was amazed at how much I loved my Viking cruise! Travelling along the Danube River and waking up to a different view each morning was a mode of travel I could very much get used to.
From the moment you step onto the ship, are offered a welcome drink and taken to your luxurious room...it begins. Friendly service from staff who are never too busy to help and the feeling you aren't in a hotel but a floating home where all the comforts are yours to enjoy.
The cabin is beautifully appointed with dream beds, a library of movies to watch at your leisure and my favourite part, a bathroom with heated flooring! Returning from a long day exploring in the cold winter temperatures, having heated flooring felt like a private spa experience.

Veranda Stateroom
It felt like coming home to our own little luxury apartment at the end of each day exploring somewhere new. Heated bathroom floors, a comfortable bed to sink into and a library of movies to watch at night. We loved running out onto the balcony each morning to see what villages we were passing!
