This ship is great for first time cruisers! It is a small ship but it is easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. We did the 5 day Bahamas cruise out of Charleston which sailed to Nassau and Freeport. We did the dolphin swim in Freeport and the catamaran sail & snorkel in Nassau. Both were very good. The ship does feel a bit old but nothing too major (i.e paint chips, some wear and tear) and I only had a few problems.

First- there was only one hot tub open during the entire length of the cruise. During the day, the kids would play in it like they would a pool, and their parents did not even care. There needs to be better enforcement so everyone can have fun.

Second- the elevator doors in the atrium would sometimes take a while to open and people got a bit scared by that.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6D

Our cabin was extremely nice for what it was. It had the usual king bed, but it also had 2 of the upper pullmans that folded down, and a trundle bed since we had 5 guests. Our room steward Maksym was great, and he left us towel animals every day, which was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend getting the ocean view staterooms.

Port Reviews

Charleston

Embarkation and disembarking were a bit slow, but otherwise it was fine.

Freeport

We absolutely loved our dolphin swim excursion! They take you to a different facility where they have trained the dolphins to interact with you. The trainers are super friendly, and they let you give the dolphins hand signals to make them do all sorts of stuff. Overall very fun!

Nassau

We did the catamaran sail and snorkel in Nassau. This was also a wonderful excursion! They take you out to a spot next to a coral reef and they gave our group extra time to snorkel. They also give you fruit punch which was nice. It was very good overall!
