  3. Liberty of the Seas
I have to say first that Liberty of the Seas is a beautiful ship! We were so excited to see her since she recently arrived to Galveston back in November. We had previously been on Navigator 3 times prior to Liberty. It's the exact same layout but bigger and obviously has more things. We arrived in Galveston (we live in Dallas, so only about a 4 1/2 drive) around 11:30 and were on the ship by 12:00. Lines were smooth and easy to get through. The Food: - The Windjammer buffet was by far the best we have experienced. The service in there was incredible. The staff would wait around and help you find a seat when it was extremely crowded, bring around drinks, pastries and cookies to your table and were constantly checking on you and picking up your plates. We loved it! Good job, Windjammer! - Sorrento's Pizza was pretty good when you wanted a snack or small lunch, we seemed to at least get a slice almost every day! We loved it! - The Cupcake Cupboard was so delicious! I bought a cupcake from there everyday and even took a Cupcake Decorating Class that they offered. It was so fun! We created a puppy dog! - Ben & Jerry's is yummy when you are craving ice cream and or a good shake! - The Main Dining Room - our service the first couple nights wasn't good at all. We waited a long time just to get our water glasses refilled, to order food, and we barely saw our Waiter and his Assistant at all. Our whole table felt the same way and we don't like to complain but we had to end up telling the Head Waiter as we were one of the last tables to leave the MDR the first couple of nights. After we mentioned it to the Head Waiter, the rest of the week was great! He said they were new and he was training them, so we completely understood! They did a great job the rest of the week and we gave them the WOW recognition. The Entertainment: It was great all over the ship! The Belly Flop and World's Sexiest Man Competitions are always a favorite of mine to watch. The adult Quest Game Show and Battle of the Sexes were hilarious and so fun to interact with. We went to see the Broadway Musical: Saturday Night Fever and it was excellent! Such a great show! The DIVAS of Motown were on our ship and they did a great performance! We really enjoyed them. The comedian on the last night was the best, he was so funny! And, of course the Ice Show was fantastic! It amazes me at how awesome they can perform on ice on a moving ship! The DreamWorks parade was super cute and fun to see! And, the 70's Disco night is always a great time! Amy, the Cruise Director was fabulous! She was always interacting with guests and into the shows and made it a fun time for all of us! We really enjoyed her as the cruise director. She did such a great job! The Ports: Honduras - this is by far our favorite stop! We went to Maya Key Private Island Resort (through Royal) and this was our second time there. It's a beautiful beach, plenty of chairs, there is snorkeling at the end of the pier that's really good once you get out there a bit in the water. They have a pool, a wildlife rescue where we got to hold baby Monkey's and a parrot. And they have huge sea lions that you can pay extra to interact with if you like! They also provide a buffet lunch in with the excursion. We highly recommend. Belize - We chose not to do an excursion on this one, we just shopped in the port and from being there 3 years ago, they have definitely built up! We enjoyed the shopping and then got back on the ship for some pool time. Cozumel - We love Cozumel! We decided to go back to Chankanaab National Park, they have an awesome beach, great snorkeling right off the beach, Sea Lion Show, several places to eat and zip lining. You can also swim with the dolphins there if you choose too for extra $. This was our 3rd time back there and we love it! It cost $21 per person to get in, but you can go to their website and print off a $2 off coupon. Our Room attendant was fantastic! He said hello to us every morning and night and asked us about our day and what did we do! I love that, since I love to meet people! He did a great job on our room every day and we loved the towel animals! All in All, it was a fantastic cruise, we had so much fun and relaxation and Royal has done it again with excellent service! We booked the same exact cruise for April of next year and we can't wait to sail on the Allure in the fall! Royal is the best and we love sailing with them! We also became Platinum members this cruise! Pretty exciting :)

Cabin Review

Cabin 8231
We had an inside cabin on the 8th floor and it was a good size, it had a small couch to sit on and the vanity. It was pretty roomy and we enjoyed staying in there.
