Fantastic 8 night cruise with 2 family's of 4, children's ages 6,8,12 & 16. Embarkation was smooth and easy and on time. Before we knew it we were having lunch up in La Playa Grille (buffet) for lunch. Were able to access our room quite early at around 2pm and our bags were already waiting for us outside our room. Departed on time at 6:30pm out of the lovely Sydney Harbour....a beautiful city to sail out of at night. Once out of the heads we headed down to the buffet for dinner, there wasn't a huge amount on offer maybe because most people were in Empire Dining room but as we were first sitting at 5:30pm we would have missed sailing out of Sydney. Overall, the whole cruise went really well, no hiccups and all staff friendly and professional with cruise director Jaime a huge stand out....she seriously made the cruise extra special with her passion for her job.

Ship : ship mid sized and getting around was easy. Decor very 'old Vegas' in style but it was an American based ship but you learn to kinda like the style after awhile! Some newly renovated areas such as Alchemy Bar and Red Frog Pub which are much more modern. Pools good sized and considering school holidays not too busy.

Cabin : we had a quad balcony cabin which was moderately sized. King sized bed was lovely and bed comfy. Sofa turned into a single bed and pull down bunk. Balcony was great and good sized. Bathroom had good sized shower and water pressure was great and always plenty of hot water. Toilet was combined in bathroom. There is only one Australian power outlet and a couple of American outlets so if you have an American adaptor take it with you. All power boards are confiscated at bag drop!! There is a hairdryer provided but not high powered so I suggest you take your own! Towel animals appear every night which is cute and the norm for most cruise lines.
