Loved it, loved it, loved it. Wish I was there right now.
Since there are so few reviews that address accessibility information for disabled people in wheelchairs and scooters, I think I will focus on that.
As a person who uses a scooter, I found the experience to be fantastic. The embarkation was very quick and easy and they let me get on first so as not to get in the way of other folks getting on the boat, which was fantastic by me. The accessible room was very large, compared to a regular room and the special roll in shower had lots of grab bars which is important if you need a flat area to roll into, or in my case, bars to hold onto while you are standing to bathe. Please, if you are not disabled or are disabled and do not really need this kind of room, do not request it. There is a special place in H E double hockey sticks for people who park in disabled parking or take these kinds of rooms when they don't need them. There are only a scant few on each boat so please leave them for those who truly need it.
Accessible cabin with a roll in shower, grab bars, and lots of things that are helpful for disabled folks like a sharps container if you need one. The room is very wide for large wheelchair and I think the balcony is double sized. These are for disabled people who actually need these things to function so don't take this room unless you really need it. Lots of storage space and just lovely.
Mr. Gumbs taxi had a wheelchair lift. You can Google him and make arrangements in advance. We went around the island, to Mountaintop and then to Magen's bay.
Getting of the boat was poorly timed with three to five other boats doing the same thing at the same time. It was hot and crowded. We walked 10 minutes to the right, found Junkanoo beach and chilled in a beach chair. Other than the sand on the beach, all was maneuverable by scooter.
Rented a taxi for $55 per hour tour and stopped at Myetts for lunch.
