This was our 5th Princess Cruise (9th overall), so we are excited to go from Ruby to Platinum level. I is also the biggest ship we have sailed on to date. Overall, we fell in love with the ship! She lacked some of the little details that we enjoy on our favorite Princess ship, the Island Princess, but we were impressed at how intimate a big ship could feel; we didn't feel like we were on a ship much bigger than the Island Princess. As always, the staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful the Enclave was an oasis, the food was wonderful...Make sure you stop at Alfredo's...what a find! Delicious. We also attended the Wine Maker's Dinner. We have been to 2 Chef's Tables, and this was comparable, without the galley tour and book, it provided excellent cuisine, served in courses with marvelous corresponding wines/champagne/limoncello, that made the experience a must have from now on, and at a very reasonable price! There were great movie offerings, and always fun at bingo and the shows. Our cabin was an obstructed balcony, was told that was an upgrade from basic balcony, not sure how, but we enjoyed the view beyond the lifeboats and the fresh air! What keeps me from giving an Excellent rating are just a few minor disappointments... The seating in the Princess Theater is tight and uncomfortable, like you are packed in, and no recessed tables that were so nice to have if you wanted to enjoy a beverage during the show; Bingo is in the Princess Live studio, also no tables available except high top counters way in the back, without seats for all; you have to balance your clipboards/tablets. The only disappointment with the food was in the buffet, the biscuits at breakfast were AWFUL. Dry and inedible. Such small things really, when there was sooo much so good about this cruise! Oh, and one other thing... we purchased liquor on board ship at better prices than anything off ship! Ports were fun and we were sorry we couldn't do the full 14 days. Soon, though, we'll be back!

Room was comfortable, standard; obstructed view was annoying in some ways, not enough to take away from an otherwise wonderful cruise. On the plus side, we could step right out on top of the lifeboat in case of emergency!
