  3. Paul Gauguin
Our 7-day cruise on the M/S Paul Gauguin had many positives. The ship, crew, and entertainment were outstanding. The menus and meals were excellent. Leftover food is thrown away or pulverized for the sea life. Prices might be lower with less waste. My husband and I figured out that we like being active. Sitting poolside, playing bridge, or working a jigsaw puzzle doesn't cut the mustard. Small exercise room. Yoga mats, but no yoga. We like dry heat. Bottom line for us – we could visit the Florida Keys or the Bahamas for a tropical experience. Shore excursions were expensive. We had a fun day snorkeling at four sites, however, the coral is dead and dying. The Society Islands were hot, humid, sunny, with rundown little towns and black pearl shops everywhere. Pretty scenery, lagoons, atolls, lemon sharks, tropical fish - yawn.

Cabin Review

Cabin 766
Our cabin was spacious enough. Bathroom had ample storage. Strange shower - difficult to figure out the turn on handles. Cabin 766 has a balcony, aft side of the ship. The cabin attendant was ever-efficient and pleasant.
