This was our first ever cruise and it was the best holiday ever. We were never at a loss for things to do, and on most days, we did something that we had never done before.

While I will not say it was perfect ( there was maybe 6 things that could have been improved upon), there was nothing worth mentioning or complaining about. We enjoyed our sea days almost as much as our port days, and after 14 days, I could have stayed longer, and we also have a few things we did not get around to trying.

But we did get to relax and enjoy. At first it was a little overwhelming but we soon became accustomed to it. Most of the staff went above and beyond what was required, and were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We loved it so much we have booked for next year to Alaska. We were given excellent rates on that cruise and the deposit we paid, was actually taken off our bill on this cruise, so effectively cost us nothing. And it can be change or cancelled at anytime up to the last due date. Now just saving up for it.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

the cabin was small, but that was expected. For the price, it was the best suited to our needs, and while a balcony would be nice, for us, it is not worth the extra cost.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

The above review should not really be taken as advice to fellow cruisers. We just dislike Sydney in general.

Noumea

We did a hop on, hop off buss, that took us to the morning markets, the beach, and generally around the city before returning to the visitor centre. The only disappointing thing was that on Saturdays, most of the shops close at midday, and we were not aware of that.

Mystery Island

had my hair braided for $10, which was amazing. The markets were great and reasonably priced. I loved the snorkeling and the children there were so cute.

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

Great snorkeling, beautiful fish, warm water. We also did a bus tour here. $20 for a tour around the island including photo stops at 8 stops - great value.

Auckland

love the aquarium here.

Tauranga

Today we did a private coach tour to Rotorua thermal springs, the Maori village and cultural centre, some waterfalls, a kiwi fruit orchard and a few other interesting places. On our return to Mount Manganui, we spend a few hours at the thermal swimming pool. This was our best day so far.
