First up I would like to point out that P&0 are normally pretty decent value for money as they tend to be cheaper than most of the other cruise lines and as such I don't expect five star and will travel with them again however not on this ship as it's a disappointment.

I'll get the whole Ant 'N' Dec thing out of the way first. I realise that some disruption would be taking place on board however had no idea as to how bad it would be. I was informed that the main pool area would be restricted for a few days but in reality it was not full functional and open to use in it's entirety for a full week (half the cruise) which cause many passengers upset as seating around this area was very limited. The ITV crew on board thought it was their right to commandeer some of the lifts most of the time at the detriment of paying passengers. They were also rude and ignorant to people around.

I booked this cruise with hope of actually seeing some of the 'celebrities' on board and being part of a TV first, how mislead was I? As only under twenty five percent of passengers were fortunate enough to see the actual show 'live' and a quarter of them being show winners this was nit the case. I was forced to see the show from other venues (I choose the theatre) which was no better than watching it from my armchair at home. Even after the show the celebs seemed to make a quick disappearing act so nothing gained there then. Kind of pointless!

Port Reviews

Seville

Cadiz is a nice place on it's own. I've been to Seville before so this time I wanted to do a bit of local exploring and found it was a nice place.

Barcelona

I always like Barcelona only this time is was let down by the poor weather.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Been to Rome prior as well so decided to check out the port area and found it was great.

Corsica (Ajaccio)

Love this place, nice scenery although a bit expensive.

Gibraltar

Best place on trip, already done the usual sights before but a great place to wander around.

Southampton

Departure port.
