NY to LA as 17 days of segment of 2009 World Cruise. I travel solo, and I am a senior of 83 yrs of age. I can manage to walk around ship - resting where needed but have to have a wheelchair at airports, embarkation and disembarkation. I do not go ashore at ports due to this limitation.

Flew to NY on Jet Blue from Fort Myers FL, very good flight. Stayed at Marriott Marquis Hotel. One night, again very good Boarding, Jan 10, slow due to lack of wheelchairs, seemed they only had one of these. Cabin was as expected , clean and comfortable. Stewardess excellent.

Ship itself , far easier to get around than QM2, with public areas off main atrium.I liked this, but QV does not handle the waves as well as QM2
