Overall the ship was ok, a little tired in places but basically clean. The ship certainly catered for the older clientele because out of 3000 passengers there was only 500 under the age of 70 so entertainment included knitting and nattering! There was no atmosphere outside near the pools other than a classical cd that just made you feel so depressed.

There were a couple of quizzes and a karaoke for 45 minutes so you could never ever take part. I have cruised many times but have never experienced shows so poor and the theatre was clearly too small for the ship as it was difficult to get a seat other than queue at 6pm. The spa is a complete rip off, charging my husband $139 for a shave!

THe biggest disappointment was the food. THere was only 1 day out of 15 when the selection was outstanding. We were glad to get off in Honolulu for a good meal! I chose this for our 25th wedding anniversary as a holiday of a lifetime and it was very disappointing. Some good staff on board the ship who do try to please you but others are rude particularly in the restaurants. Great bar staff on deck 16, Laura and Mark who were excellent.

Port Reviews

Honolulu

Great day out at a third of the price the ship quoted!

Hilo

I thought the island was dirty and very commercialised

Ensenada

Nothing much at the port and only really shopping to do, not made easier by the fact it rained all day we were there.

Maui

Great trip and half the price of the ship!

Kauai

A great way to see all of the island

Los Angeles

Great value for money on a tour of Hollywood
