I was surprised how well Carnival dealt with this issue of the Spring Breakers on this March 2009 cruise.

Going in March it was expected there would be college students just being typical college students. Drinking and having fun. Yet, I am a bit older than a college student, so it was annoying when they ran down the halls by our cabin at 3 a.m. screaming and hollering. It was painfully obvious they were drunk, etc.

Kudos to the security team of Carnival for settling them down and making them realize that although shocking to them there were actually other folks on the ship trying to sleep and enjoy his/her vacation. Case in point...kids on board! Read more
