Out for our Honeymoon dinner together at the Manhattan Room.
Heading to the Cocoa Beach excursion.
After dinner we went out just in time to see the sun set on our way back to New York
The zipline at the end of the rope course on board the Breakaway.

This was our very first cruise. 7 days New York to the Bahamas round trip. We drove into NY and had prepaid parking, they dropped us off at the terminal and for an additional $30 they brought our car to us when we disembarked(I recommend this - Park Right). We arrived 1 hour early and we still were sent straight through. I think total time at terminal was about 1 hour before boarding. I wish I would have remembered our room stewards name, cause he called us by ours the whole trip. He did an excellent job.(yes we did tip him at the end).

The only issue we had was - We had a choice of the 4 packages and being that we do not drink very much, we went with the shore excursion credit. First port was Canaveral, we had set an excursion for surf lessons. It was cancelled due to only one person booking it (us). Then we had excursions set for The Great Stirrup Cay, parasailing and Fate of the Fancy Snorkeling. It was cancelled due to the waves and they wouldn't tender anyone across. So we sailed on to Nassau where we got to do the only excursion we had originally booked Sub Experience. I believe due to the fact that the credits were very much reduced and a second choice of Florida excursion was taken, one of the other package deals should have replaced the shore excursion credit package. The sub experience was great, it is 5 hours long and does take the whole day in Nassau. We did get to do some snorkeling in between the groups of the subs.

Again the rest of the cruise was spectacular. I have never been around so many people who were so pleasant and nice. The crew was especially nice. The crew will go out of their way to try to make it as pleasant as possible for you. (except the excursions, lol). So many different activities on board, we tried to get in as many as possible(Deal or no Deal, Bingo, casino, chess, art auctions, etc). The cruise director Dan Dan was hilarious. The food was spectacular. I had my first crepe, it was made to order right in front of me.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Cabin IC

Excellent service. We only spent much of the time in the cabin sleeping and getting ready for the day. So we didn't mind that it was an inside stateroom. HOWEVER :) when you walk down the halls and are able to see the balcony rooms being cleaned made us want one, we will look into getting a balcony room on our next cruise. The room was made up everyday and turned down at night. The towel animals were especially cute. We went looking for an ice machine the first night. The steward stopped us and said he would take care of it. We had ice in our room everyday and refilled at night.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

This was not our original excursion, which was surf lessons(cancelled due to no participation of other guests). We hit Ron Jons and did some shopping. Walked about and did some geocaching. Went to the beach but didn't go into the water.

Nassau

Loved the experience and got in some snorkeling between groups. Took my GoPro for the underwater pictures. They were just fantastic.

New York (Manhattan)

This was our embarkation port and never thought it would have gone so smooth.
