This was our third cruise. First was with Norwegian Pride of America around Hawaii (which was very good) & second which was with Carnival Spirit from Barcelona to Venice ( which was OK)
Boarding was easy in Sydney & bags delivered to the room soon after.
The lifeboat drill was awful with hundreds of people cramped into tiny rooms for 40 minutes +. This drill should be done outside near the lifeboats.
First two days were at sea & with a none exsitant cruise director and it was pretty much spent lying by the pool and having your own fun and trying to work out the classic beverage package which is only value for money if you can get through about 15 drinks a day.
The food at Ocean View buffet was good and dining at Epinary Restaurant was very good. Did not try the paid dining experiences.
Cruise took in the Islands of Lifou, Noumea & Isle of Pines. Did not bother with the expensive shore excursions as were only on the islands for a few hours.
Entertainment increased during the cruise but was not as good as the other two cruises that we have done.
Room attendants were good and staff freindly and keen to chat.
Would not look to use Celebrity Cruise line again as they seem expensive for what they provide.
Small balcony cabin with two uncomfortable single beds pushed together. Old style flat screen TV with free movies that don't work and limited channels.
Clean bathroom with low pressure shower.
Good view with port being between Sydney Harbour & Opra house
