First of all I want to start by saying that so far 1 out of More than 3000 people have written a review of the adventure of the sea during the time time I cruised so you really have to take each review with a huge gain of salt ! You end up only reading about a few people's experience and not the thousands of other peoples experience ! I'm going to try to be very honest and open minded to every aspect of our week in the adventure of the sea . ( I was the one who read these reviews like crazy and awaited new ones to be posted before I went on my cruise )
it was march break / spring break so the ship was full of families and that is exactly what we expected and we're looking forward to as we had 3 teenagers and an 8 year old with us .
We got to the San Juan pan am pier at around 10:45 we stood inline for only about 10 mins then we were let into another room where they checked out bags through security and then stood in another quick line where we got our sea pass cards and our picture taken we then waited for the big doors to open to allow us to enter the ramp that led to the ship .
Best excursion EVER . Swam with turtles and saw the ship reck also took a taxi tour all around the town. Taxi available right off the ship
