We stayed two nights before the cruise at the Embassy Suites in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Very convenient hotel location near the airport, and with a whole bunch of restaurants within walking distance. (Two adjacent to the hotel, and more than a dozen in the HUGE shopping mall just across the street.) The hotel arranged a shuttle for us to the cruise port. Easy.

This was my 35th cruise. Anthem Of The Seas is a fantastic ship, and I would not hesitate to sail on her again. It was one of the best cruises I've been on. I've done a lot of Carnival cruises, and this seemed like a BIG upgrade from a Carnival cruise.

There are so many interesting things to do on the ship, and they've really been smart in some of the little improvements they've made in this latest generation of ships.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D5

This is a great cabin! Conveniently located near the forward elevators, but an easy walk to the forward elevators. We loved being very close to the Solarium. Either walk up two flight to the main entrance to the Solarium, or just walk up one flight to deck 13 and use the secret entrance to the Solarium at the far forward end of the corridor.
