Where do I start? Wonderful cruise with good amount of activities and good dining options. Bartenders pour generously and everyone greets you with a warm smile. Shows are not to be missed, especially the comedian/magician Jean Pierre and the adage group (forgot their name - but think male/female acrobatics). Amazing talent on this cruise from the vocalists to the washy-washy guy on his guitar every morning. Specialty Restaurants are above average especially Le Bistro. Cagneys is worth a mention as well as the tomahawk steak was one to remember but Le Bistro was definitely the stand out. Teppanyaki was on par with your local Benihanas which I was quite impressed with. Avoid Chin Chin...I've had better Asian food at Panda Express. But the sushi was very good.

Suite Life:

We stayed in a forward facing penthouse suite and I must say the room was nice, but you are truly paying for the service. Our concierge, Joaquin was there to greet us at the terminal and ensure our trip was comfortable from start to finish. You get to skip all the lines at embarkation and relax in a lounge area with refreshments and cookies and all the fixings. This is before you even get on the boat. Then they swoop you up and take you to Moderno for lunch, and that is just the beginning. You get a butler for your stateroom. Ours, Jennifer, was amazing! She went out of her way to bring us green apples everyday because she overheard my son enjoying them (we never asked for it, they just appeared).

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SE

Beautifully appointed forward facing penthouse suite with all the amenities. Bulgari bath products, Lavazza Espresso Machine, wonderful butler, and concierge at your fingertips. Room was spacious for family of four and the view was just incredible. Being forward facing you get to see where the boat is headed, saw whales and dolphins from our balcony on this trip. Only downside is it gets pretty windy at sea but what do you expect? Also you are right below the bridge so window washing soaks your balcony at night (don't leave anything out overnight). Also because you are under bridge you have to remind yourself to close your curtains at night so as to not interfere with bridge view. If you check the ship's webcam, it's the same view you get from your window/balcony. Pretty awesome!

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

San Pedro is where the cruise is docked. Went around Long Beach...nice town. Visit the Aquarium of the Pacific if you have time.

Cabo San Lucas

Straight party town. Be ready for wild and crazy activities! Mango Deck is not to be missed.

Mazatlan

If there was a day you could stay on the boat, this was it. Old town feel, little to do but worth visiting just to say you did. Golden zone is quite a ways from port. Stone Island is prob best bet for something close by.

Puerto Vallarta

Now this is what you would expect of a cruise port while on vacation. Beautiful town with lots of activities. We did Las Caletas and let me just say it was the highlight of our trip.
