This was my 1st time cruising. We have a 10 & 11 year old (and brought my mom as well), so we thought this would be a nice short trial run to see if we liked it for future opportunities. We had already planned to visit New Orleans over the kid's spring break, so we thought this would be a good time to check it out.

We booked 2 rooms (Balcony on the Verandah deck- V34 & V36) next to each other.

Getting on the ship was relatively easy and the process went smooth.

The room was actually more spacious than we were expecting and I thought it was great. Having the balcony was nice, but we didn't use it very much.

Interesting that there is pretty limited drawer space, but a huge amount of space for a bar underneath the TV. Seems like not a great use of space.

Our crew steward Richard did a great job, went above & beyond request and was always happy.
