This was our first cruise but every member in my family is already looking forward to the next cruise and trying to decide where we should go.

It was not perfect...but honestly, if you are looking for perfection on ANY vacation...well good luck with that. It was Excellent however.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin G

I had read some reviews who had negative things to say about deck 3 in general.

I can not say if they were right about other cabins, but they could not have been more wrong when it came to 3562.

Now there are a few things to know. Unlike most decks, Deck 3 is split in half by the Ice rink.

If you can enter the Ice rink, you are on the wrong side and can not get to this cabin.

You will need to either go up a deck and through the Casino or up 2 decks and through the Promenade. After you discover this once, it is really not a big deal any longer.

3562 is near The Labyrinth and also near the Alahambra. And yes, it is down a floor from the Casino.

Let me be clear...there was NO NOISE from any of these activities. The room is quiet, clean, perfectly adequate size for a family of 4 and has the huge port window.

As we have a 4 y/o, the balcony would never have been opened. This port window gives a fantastic view and was perfect for our needs.

Besides the twin beds pushed into a King for Mom and Dad, the cabin attendant has a key that will allow him to drop 2 twin beds out of the ceiling. My sons reported they were very comfortable with plenty of room. In fact, all the beds were comfortable.

There are 2 110v outlet sockets in the room. Take and extension cord and a power strip. You will thank me.

The bathroom is small and the shower is a bit tight for a large guy. But there is enough room. When you consider that ship bathrooms have to be smaller due to space limitations on a ship, you realize what a good job the designers did.

There is not a ton of space in the closet but there was enough.

I am telling you now...whatever you think you need to bring...bring half.

You will be able to get by just fine with 2 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 swim trunks, a suit for formal night, 3 nice shirts and a handfull of T-Shirts. If you bring much more, something will be going back not worn on a 4 night cruise.

There is TV...thanks to satellite and the TV is interactive via the remote.

And I could not write this review with mentioning our cabin attendant....Elroy.

Either he is a triplet or the man never sleeps. He tidied the room at least twice a day.

His towel creations were fun. I like his bat creation the best.

There is a 2 seat Love Seat and a coffee table. In addition, you get a lighted mirror for women to apply makeup. There is a fridge and lots of little Cubby holes . The AC worked. The view was wonderful and we loved this room. I would not hesitate for a second to book this room again.
