We've only been on 3 cruises prior to this sailing. This was by far the best. Let me start with Embarkation. We drove to the port and parked at the port. $20 per day. Kinda of steep, however very conviienent. It took approx. 1.5 hrs. to board. Our cabin was an interior spa cabin. It was small but we didn't spend a whole lot of time in there. With a spa cabin, you have access to the Serenity Spa. The amenities are nice. Sauna, therapy pool, heated loungers etc. Our cabin steward Marta was wonderful. He made sure we had plenty of the elemis toiletries that are included in the spa cabin. They smell really nice. He always greeted us with a smile and knew our names. We had your time dining. It was nice to have the flexibility to eat when ever we wanted. I missed dining and meeting other people. Next cruise we will go back to assigned dining. Just our preference. The food was good. Nothing special. We did eat in the steakhouse which was great. I recommend making reservations before your cruise. We had reservations but wanted to back another night and everything was booked. The deli was really good and the pizza was decent. Lots of choices on the buffet during lunch, however very limited for dinner. Guys burgers where the best. C-Side bbq. was not very good. Breakfast was always good in the dining room and buffet. Entertainment was really good. Different show every night . Comedy club was great. We saw 3 different comedians all very good. Late shows for adults only were great. Our cruise director Mike was fantastic . He was always around morning, noon, and night. The music trivia shows he hosted were great. I hope Mike is on Vista when we sail in 2018. Ports, St. Marteen we book our excursion on our own. We booked through Soauliga Destinations. Check them out on TripAdvisor. Captain Bob is the great. Antigua, we took a bus to Nelson's dockyard. Easy enough to do on your own. St. Thomas we booked a ship excursion to Magen's Bay than shopping. It was worth the $49 Amber Cove, really nice pool area. Some shopping . This is Carnival's private island so I was disappointed that although we had the Cheers drink pkg. we still had to pay for drinks, so we went back on board and enjoyed the pool and free drinks . The only down side was we had to leave when the cruise was over. Disembark was a night mare. Customs was a joke. It took forever to get our bags. Note to self, self assist. If you can carry your bags off the ship, than do it.

Cabin Review

Spa Interior
Cabin 4S 11232
We had an interior spa cabin. Very nicely decorated. Calm colors. 3 nice size closets, small desk area. Bathroom was adequate but small. Not a lot of room for anything . It was tight. No where to sit but on the bed, which by the way was very comfortable. Bring a night light because it's dark. Having access to the Serenity Spa was nice.
