We enjoyed our cruise on the Silhouette. This is our second Celebrity Cruise. We were in a concierge room. As others have said the perks for this room are minimal, however when we booked the cruise we received the Drink Package, Free Tips and $300 OBC if we booked Concierge class cabins. So we did. The cabin was great, perfect size, the bathroom pefect. Wish all cruise lines had cabins so nice. Our room attendant Andrew was less then perfect. The room was well taken care of but he had a real attitude. He came in for the first meeting and said if you have any problems call me not anyone else or I will get in trouble. Seamed like a strange thing to start a conversation with. Of course we had asked for a couple things. One being ice (I have a bad shoulder and need to ice it) and of course we did not get it until the 2nd day. Couple other things he did not do as well until we asked again. When we asked for something it always seemed to be like we were asking for more than we should. He wasn't bad, just did not make us feel welcome. The others traveling with us had the same issues. Our dining staff were very nice and did a good job. Food was ok but I felf like there was no variety on the menu in the main dining room.... I laugh (not that i need more food) but the portions are getting smaller and smaller every time we cruise. The NY Steak was about 1/2 in thick, if that. We ate at Muranos one night. Had perfect service, food was a little too foo foo for me. I would have loved just a nice steak or prime rib or something. However the service was wonderful and even though I hardly ate mine, the experience was great. Food in the buffet was fine. Ate there one night for dinner because we were tired from being on shore that day and didn't want to change clothes. Enjoyed that food more than the dining room really. Drink package was nice to have but everyone was commenting on how slow the bar staff were and they were not friendly at all. Not rude but only one time were we greeted with a hello or good morning etc. The pool staff walked about with trays, however never asked anyone if they wanted a drink. Not one person asked us if we wanted to upgrade to a premium package, which I had expected to hear. We talked with some folks that only cruise Celebrity and had been on over 20 cruises. Said the staff on this ship were the least friendly staff around. Don't know why. They all seemed like they had been on the ship for way too long. Capt was funny sometimes a little bit too funny and a little rude. But overall at his announcements were fun to listen to. Cruise director did a good job. Shows were average. Nothing too exciting but nice performances. The first comedian was funny the first show. We went to the late "adult" version and he was not funny at all, no off color jokes or anything, not sure why it was the late night adult version. A lot of the same thing from his first show. We did notice the pool staff, were serious about people not saving pool chairs all day. It was refreshing to see. They came around and put cards on the chairs saying you have not been here, and if we come back in 30 minutes and your still not here we are clearing out your things and giving your chairs to others. They did it too. It was nice. Made some people very unhappy but its crazy. People come at 7 and put out their towels and show back up at noon or 1 and expect them to still be there.

So in the end the best thing about the cruise was the cabin and hard to believe also the bathrooms, both public and cabins. These were the best public restrooms in any ship we have been on. Really nice.

Nice cruise. Just average though.
