This is my second time on the Norwegian Breakaway. It is so convenient for me as I live in Manhattan and just have to head across town to board. This is a beautiful ship. They assign you a check in time to stagger the crowds checking in. We waited about 20 minutes from when we got there to when we boarded the ship. We went to our room and were greeted by our cabin steward, Abdul. What a wonderful young man. Very friendly, knew our names from day one, kept the cabin spotless, asked every day if there was anything we needed, always wished us a good day or a good meal, etc.

The staff on board were all over the top nice and friendly. Always smiling faces. We had terrible weather and very high winds so the boat did rock for the first two days. On a previous cruise, I didn't feel the rocking at all.

The food is excellent everywhere we ate, from the buffet to the specialty restaurants. Teppanyaki is a Benihana-style restaurant and was excellent. We also ate at Le Bistro, La Cucina, and Moderno...all excellent. Book your reservations early for the shows and specialty restaurants! You can do that right on the tv in your room.

Great room, wonderful balcony with two seats and a little table. Perfect for two people.
