Having read a number of online reviews prior to the cruise, I soon realised that this ship is NOT the best Princess has to offer.
The food quality onboard was poor, which led to disappointing meals - with the exception of the supplementary restaurant Sabatini’s. The selection on many days in the Horizon Court left a lot to be desired, the quality of food seemed much lower than normal in both the Horizon Court and main dining rooms onboard, and we never experienced one hot dinner.
On numerous occasions we spotted insects and flies around the ship, mainly in the public restrooms and on one occasion in the Horizon Court Buffet.
The interior of our mini suite was very tired and dirty. There were stains on the fabric of the headboard, chips and scratches on various pieces of the wooden furniture, large cracks in the bathtub along with patches of mold in between the tiles and rust on the taps in the shower. The carpet had numerous stains and the whole thing felt grubby.
The biggest issue of our cruise was the constant vibration in our cabin, D730. Throughout the cruise, we had very disrupted sleep due to a heavy vibration which, we can only assume came from the engines.
Loved Singapore. Gardens by the Bay well worth a visit.
Spent the day at Nikki Beach as found it all a bit confusing once we got off the ship. Beautiful scenery and beaches, watch out for the taxis trying to rip people off.
Unfortunately it was a two hour coach journey into Bangkok which meant we had to use out limited time in the city very efficiently. The temples are outstanding!
