So, to get started, this is our second RCL cruise, third overall. The ship was fascinating with lots of activities throughout the day! The ship was not worn out at all, could not see any rust and carpets were new. Departure from Singapore was VERY smooth, less than 10-minutes to get us into the ship! Activities: Just great! For 5-nights, they included dancing lessons, trivias, mini-games and shows. The dancing lessons were fun - even for those watching only… The cruise director randomly pick those unsuspecting passengers and got them to dance! Funny! Service: The service was average, a little understaff (not severely). The customer service on Deck 5 wasn't good at all… Since this ship was American, we need adaptors to charge our cameras, phones etc. But, Royal Caribbean, being Royal Caribbean, forced us to BUY the adaptors! But after thinking again, we figured out that we might be able to use them during our next cruise. Shore Excursions: At the port of Laem Chabang in Thailand, we booked a shore excursion visiting The Sanctuary of Truth (a temple) and the Pattaya Floating Market. It was not so good. First, the temple was not even finished constructing, which the guide told us it will NEVER be finished, and the Floating Market isn't the real one. Then, for buisiness purposes, the guide brought us to a jewellry shop, forcefully asking us to buy the overpriced jewellry, which we didn't. Couldn't wait to get back to the ship! Our next excursion was transit to Chaweng Beach in Ko Samui. Mainly because it is just a transit, there is nothing to complain. (Plus the driver even offered me the front seat of the car!) Dining: Food was excellent throughout the whole cruise, just a insider's tip, the moment you get onboard the ship, be sure to head for the only opened complimentary restaurant, the Windjammer Marketplace. Because an hour later, you csnnot even find a walkway to walk, SO MANY PEOPLE!!! Entertainment: Perfect! The range of entertainment is so huge! The first night was juggling (in the most creative way), next was The Aussie Boys. Third night was The Beatles Maniac, I found their music awesome even though I'm not much of a Beatles fan. The fourth night was a Royal tribute to British artist in the 70s and the last was Steven Marshal's magic show! Not to mention the famous Seasons - a Centrum Aerial Spectacular! Cruise Director was Keith Williams. Overall, do NOT listen to the bad reviews, service might be slow, but after all, you are on a vacation! Booked my next cruise onboard Ovation of the Seas, aware of the bad reviews but will definitely give them a chance!

The ship was not worn out at all, could not see any rust and carpets were new. Departure from Singapore was VERY smooth, less than 10-minutes to get us into the ship!

Just great! For 5-nights, they included dancing lessons, trivias, mini-games and shows. The dancing lessons were fun - even for those watching only… The cruise director randomly pick those unsuspecting passengers and got them to dance! Funny!

The service was average, a little understaff (not severely). Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom
Cabin K 8025
This partucular stateroom is just underneath the pool, so there are sounds of splashing overnight, which was fine for us as we limit our time in the room. The restroom was great, very practical, ITS JUST THAT SHOWER CURTAIN! The room itself is also nice, lots of storage!
