The Spring Vacation gods were good to us this year. For the first time since 2010, our spring break coincided with our dear friends that live across country. This was our 3rd Celebrity cruise (Equinox and Summit previously), and if not for the company, I might have been a little disappointed. We had a Sail Away adventure, including a web-cam wave, planned for the Lawn Club as we departed, however the muster drill started very late due to passengers not knowing where they were to report to. Half way through the video presentation (in multiple languages no less), the ship left port. By time we were out of the muster drill, we were several miles out to sea. Very disappointed. The stateroom was very clean and the stewards were great. We again selected Concierge in order to get priority tender tickets for Grand Cayman. (This is one of the selling points Celebrity has for Concierge). When we went to get our tickets, we were told that even though we were in the correct type of stateroom, our Captain's Club status was not high enough to get the priority tickets. A letter to Celebrity is forthcoming. After being seated in a far corner of the MDR near the waiters station, and waiting over an hour for our dinners to be delivered, we asked to be moved for the remainder of our cruise to another section. We were seated in a very nice quiet part of the MDR with a great wait staff for the rest of the cruise. The ships entertainment was top notch!. 3 great shows in the main theater by the singers/dancers as well as 2 additional shows in the Atrium. The comedy acts were humorous, and the Tenors of Rock put on a great show as well. We had a blast taking part in ship activities and were even twice selected to participate in different game shows. Ports: Cozumel- weather was great, and we spent time at a private beach club. Only downside was when I lost my phone at the steps before boarding the ship. Guest relations were very helpful and made a satellite call to our phone carrier for us. Grand Cayman- Tender ticket issues mentioned earlier, and were compounded by rough seas and wind. As we were the 7th ship in port that day, and the last to arrive at 10:00, we had to rely on ship tenders only. The first ones finally left after 11:30 am. We left the ship at 12:30. We had pre-purchased all day passes to the Cayman Turtle Farm. Falmouth, Jamaica- Only ship excursion purchased-Dreamer Catamaran and Lagoon Snorkel. No matter which excursion you chose in Falmouth, it will take 30-45 minutes to get there. Even so, we had lots of time on this excursion for snorkeling and sightseeing. Labadee- My wife zip lined down the Dragon's Breath Flight line, and then we hung out at one of the beaches.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class
Cabin C2 9299
Port side, last cabin before the aft facing cabins. The balcony was a little larger than most, and it is a very quiet room. Only time we felt the engines was pulling out of Falmouth. It is a longer walk to the elevators, however that is why we selected it.
