The Spring Vacation gods were good to us this year. For the first time since 2010, our spring break coincided with our dear friends that live across country. This was our 3rd Celebrity cruise (Equinox and Summit previously), and if not for the company, I might have been a little disappointed. We had a Sail Away adventure, including a web-cam wave, planned for the Lawn Club as we departed, however the muster drill started very late due to passengers not knowing where they were to report to. Half way through the video presentation (in multiple languages no less), the ship left port. By time we were out of the muster drill, we were several miles out to sea. Very disappointed.
The stateroom was very clean and the stewards were great. We again selected Concierge in order to get priority tender tickets for Grand Cayman. (This is one of the selling points Celebrity has for Concierge). When we went to get our tickets, we were told that even though we were in the correct type of stateroom, our Captain's Club status was not high enough to get the priority tickets. A letter to Celebrity is forthcoming.
After being seated in a far corner of the MDR near the waiters station, and waiting over an hour for our dinners to be delivered, we asked to be moved for the remainder of our cruise to another section. We were seated in a very nice quiet part of the MDR with a great wait staff for the rest of the cruise.
Port side, last cabin before the aft facing cabins. The balcony was a little larger than most, and it is a very quiet room. Only time we felt the engines was pulling out of Falmouth. It is a longer walk to the elevators, however that is why we selected it.
