We enjoyed this cruise very much. Unfortunately we had to miss a port but it could not be helped. The canal was fantastic, and we enjoyed Aruba, Cartegena, and Grand Cayman. Enrichment sessions on destinations and epidemics were enjoyable. I feel like this cruise got some bad rap, but we had a good time.

The food in the dining room was very good. We chose anytime dining so we could eat around other activities. You do lose the camaraderie of having the same wait staff and dinner companions but it worked for us.

We enjoyed the shows in the princess theater but you did need to arrive about 30 minutes early to make sure you had a seat. We missed out a couple of times but it was easy to find something else to occupy our time.

Cabin Review

Cabin oceanview

Cabin was obstructed OV...really obstructed but having light was nice, Cabin was fine, bed very comfortable. Carpet needs replaced and lighting is awful for doing makeup. It worked fine for us but I was bothered by the carpet.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

WE have been here several times and took a taxi to and from Royal palms resort then went out on the beach. Very pleasant and beautiful. WE did not stay on Royal palms property, however. Taxi was 4 dollars pp each way and it was 2 dollars per person to enter beach through Royal palms which gives you access to their restrooms and pool if you want.

Puerto Limon

WE were scheduled to go to a hacienda and see some plantations I believe but this port had to be cancelled. It was understandable but it was someplace I have never been. Disappointing.

Colon (Cristobal)

WE did not venture off the ship here.
