We have done over a dozen cruises and loved this one so much we booked another cruise on the Breakaway even before we got back home.
Check-in: Took about an hour which is very realistic for a ship with so many people on it. Getting to facility was easy, we parked a few blocks away (Much cheaper than at the cruise terminal) and them took a $5 cab rode to the terminal. Drop your bags at the curbside bag drop and then check in.
Ship: Most modern ships are are way over the top glitzy, not this ship. It is very understated and elegant which we preferred. The ship is huge, yet it never felt overly crowded. Yes there are some lines/crowds, but it was never a long wait.
PROS: We had a mini suite (Category MA) on deck 14. The mini suite is a little larger than a balcony. Whet we loved most was the bathroom. Most cruise ships have miniature bathrooms where you can use the toilet, shower and sink all at the same time. Not here, this was normal sized and 2 people can use it at the same time easily. And the large double width sink was very nice. Our cabin steward was fantastic with room service done twice a day. Make sure to use the buttons by the bathroom to indicated do not disturb or make up room status.
CONS: While we loved the cabin itself, deck 14 is directly below the pool deck and buffet. So we did hear some noise above from moving chairs, kids running around etc. Not horrible, but it was there. Next time I would book a deck lower and have no issues. Also our cabin 14204 did have a little creaking noises from the ship when at sea, but nothing horrible.
