I have just been on the sapphire princess March 2016, Before boarding the ship you will need to check in my only advise on this cruise is that if you hold a British passport then you DO NOT NEED a visa for; Singapore, Bangkok and only a landing card for Vietnam which the ship will provide also no visa needed for Hong Kong. If you are visiting China then you will need to get a multi entree visa at a cost of up to £200 per person.
Our room was tired large stains on the carpet, the bedding had stains on and when requesting robes they both had very large yellow stains on. Pillows were very old and lumpy with blood spots inside . Even tho the balcony was large was very rusty and grubby. Cups in the room have no handles, more over there was only two Chinese tea bigs to make a cup of tea. Towels were stained had to go and get them myself. The shower is very small not designed for disabled people in any way.
The food in the horizon court area is very small and did not have much choice, most of the time it was hot. Trying to find a seat is very hard but do ask to share with someone at least you will have somewhere to sit and you will never know they may be nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They will get you water, coffee and tea all is free with free apple and orange juice in the morning. Also you can get these things anytime.
Cabin small balcony really big on deck 10 over looked. Dirty balcony , rusty and tired. Bathroom very small if you are disabled like my wife really bad to have a shower.
Cabin staff do their best.
