We flew to Fort Lauderdale the day before our Cruise and rented a car to go to Hollywood Beach for the afternoon and then drove to the Courtyard Marriott downtown Miami. Dropped our Avis rental one block from Hotel. Marriott was free with DH's reward points and bonus...they upgraded us to a suite...very nice. Walked Bayside Market. Shuttle in the morning from Hotel was $5 each to Port of Miami.

Embarkation was smooth and as Latitudes members we boarded first. By noon we were at the Venetian Restaurant for very nice lunch. (thanks for this suggest to earlier reviews) Wandered around Ship awhile and we were called to our cabins by 2pm and luggage arrive shortly after.

CABIN - We enjoyed a mini suite on deck 11 midship... great location...plenty of room for us (we're light packers) and bigger bathroom. Our stewards were always friendly and helpful. I loved how he mispronounced my first name... I think I'll keep it that way.lol
