Cruising is such a wonderful time. This was our 10th Cruise but the first as a family. It was our 4th Carnival Cruise and we have done 6 on RCI. I have 5 children from the ages 14-25 so 7 of us.

We started by picking where we wanted to go then we went through the different cruises. We narrowed it down to magic because it worked for us. We did purchasing the Faster to the Fun pass which I would do again. I am a bit stressful when it comes to lines and this totally eased my pain.

We stayed at the Days Inn Galveston Sea Wall. It was on the opposite end of town but was ok. got it really cheap and they had a shuttle that worked for us to the port. Room was clean breakfast was not good.

Room Clean we even wiped some things down and they were clean. Love having a balcony and watching the sea. Bed was comfortable. My youngest was with us and her bed was really firm but that didn't stop her from catching ZZ's since we wore her out every day. Steward was the best.

Port Reviews

Galveston

Miguel was our dive instructor and he was great. We had a privet boat or fast boat. Was great I love how professional they are and how clear the water is. Saw 3 sharks sting ray moray eel

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Jason and Jerome were our guides and they were awesome. Jason caught several sting rays for us to hold, kiss and get a back rub from. Would highly recommend them.

Montego Bay

I loved these's guys were awesome Diablo and Blemish were our guides and I would say safety was Number one with these guys. They were top notch and my kids loved them. Super friendly super funny. Diablo is the man.
