My boyfriend and I went on this cruise to celebrate our anniversary and expected to have a great time. We are 25 and 26, so we where happy with the unlimited drinks package and pleased to find that it wasn't a ship known for being over run with children. We were also just as pleased that though we couldn't quite avoid spring break season we weren't going on the peak weekend for it (My own college spring break was the week before), we like to party but within reason!
The drinks were tasty and the service was good, so nothing was wrong there. Our favorite haunt was a cozy bar in the front of the ship where you could walk out onto the deck and see the water. I was surprised that more people were not there. The food was OK, we stuck to the complimentary options and ate at least 87 times per day, as is tradition when Americans are given unlimited access to food. Crossings was better than the Palace but the service both places was very attentive. Our room was cozy and clean every time we returned. The comedy show was very funny, though to be honest I was primed for the experience already with numerous cocktails.
We did book a couples massage which was lovely, but frankly ruined by the instant attempt to sell us products as soon as it was finished. They were really very intense about it which was upsetting after paying so much for the massage in the first place and tipping rather well. We both ended up buying the products in our post massage fog, feeling quite bamboozled!
Clean, cool, calming :)
Loved the towel animals!
Don't recommend it.
Nice Beach Day!
Had a nice time, stayed at the YVE.
